      WEDDING
      GRANT-MOFFITT.
On January 25 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Inverell Rev A Edmunds officiated at the marriage of Miss Jessie Moffitt, second daughter of Mr and Mrs H E Moffitt of Bukkulla
to Mr Geoffrey Grant, also of Bukkulla.
The bride, who was given away byher father, chose a beautiful gown of white satin with appliqued heart-shaped neckline, the skirt falling in rich folds from the waistline into the train. The tulle bridal veil was held in position by a wreath of orange blossoms and the bride's bouquet was of pink and white gladioli and dahlias.
The bride was attended by theMisses Daphne Moffitt and Bessie Grills in most becoming frocks of aqua and daffodil French silk organdi with shirred bodices and frilled skirts. Their tulle halos were held in place by sprays of rosebuds and each carried matching tulle muffs with charme dahlias and asparagus fern.
Mr Charles Moffitt carried out the duties of best man, in the absence of Mr G Grant, of the RAAF, who was unable to attend, and Mr Alan Moffitt was groomsman.
The guests were afterwards entertained at Kautz's tea rooms, where they were received by the bride's mother wearing black satin back crepe. Mrs Moffitt was assisted by Mrs Stan Grills, of Bundarra, wearing navy striped sheer. Both carried posies of dahlias and asparagus fern, which, together with the bride's and bridesmaid's bouquets, were the work of the bridesmaid.
Rev A Edmunds presided at the wedding breakfast.
The bride travelled in a frock of blue satin back crepe with navy accessories.
The honeymoon is being spent on a motor tour.
Mr and Mr Grant will make their future home at Bukkulla.
Prior: to her manage the bride was entertained by her many friends at Bukkulla where she presented with a beautiful tea set.
